Process

Consultation — $400

Our process begins with a two-hour consultation in your home, focused on understanding your needs, vision, and overall goals. During this meeting, we become familiar with the space, walk through the project together, and clarify your priorities—allowing us to establish a thoughtful and well-defined direction moving forward.

Design Proposal & Approval

With the initial direction in mind, we prepare a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work and associated cost. Once approved and the agreement is signed, the project moves forward into the design phase.

Design Development & Selections

We begin the design phase by developing the overall concept and refining the details of your project. This includes sourcing materials, finishes, and fixtures while building out the design plans. Throughout this phase, we connect through a combination of in-person and virtual meetings to review selections and ensure alignment. Where applicable, we coordinate with trades and contractors to ensure the design is both intentional and aligned with how the space will be built.

Presentation

Once the design has been developed and key selections are in place, we present the overall direction through drawings and material selections that bring the space together. Depending on the scope of the project, presentations may be delivered in phases. We then review your feedback and make final refinements to ensure the design is fully aligned before moving forward.

Implementation

Once the design is finalized, the project moves into execution. We collaborate with the contractor and remain available to address design-related questions as they arise. Our role is to provide clarity, direction, and ongoing support—helping maintain alignment between the design vision and how the space comes together on site. Support is provided remotely, and on-site visits or construction supervision are not included.

Curated Design

Minimalist Design introduces a curated design experience for clients who need professional guidance without committing to full-service interior design. This service is ideal for one or two focused spaces—such as a kitchen, bathroom, or individual room—or for clients who need expert guidance with layouts, material selections, and key design decisions without the need for a full design scope. The Curated Design package provides thoughtful, professional support tailored to your project.

Our Curated Design Package Includes:

  • Six hours of remote design consultation

  • Space planning and room layout guidance

  • Material and finish selections

  • Comprehensive material list with direct resource links

  • Design notes and professional recommendations

  • Complimentary 30-minute follow-up call within 30 days
